Kingpin Shims ??

I still have my '72 front end apart, clean,
waiting for parts, and spread out on newspaper.
After the recent thread on front ends, I decided
to check out my shims. 

There are no shims above the thick bronze washer/bushing,
and none below.  Should there be?  I have all the parts
I removed neatly cleaned and put backl where they came
from so I can match up the new parts.  No shims.

Izzat ok?
