I heard that it doesn't travel well, so it is made differently than for the
home market. While Guinness in London is better than what we get in the
states, Guinness in Dublin is still the best. (And a great web site at
www.guinness.com)
The last time I was in London, I stuck to bitter beer and whisky. (In
separate glasses, of course.) My wife (now ex) ordered a whisky sour, and
was she surprised to find that they made it with Scotch whisky! (Is there
another kind of whisky?)
