Please excuse me if I sound dumb but was the mech tacho on 948 engines driven by the dynamo??? On early B-Series engines (16GF, 18G, etc) the mech tacho was driven by a thingummy (similar to the speedo gizmo), located at the rear right of the block. So, now that I've put a 17ACR alternator there, have I lost the option of a gear tacho? Evangelos |
