Torque Curves

Anyone got a torque curve (or a reference to one, is it in the manual!!)
for the standard 1275 engine. While you are at it, torque and power curves
for modified engines would also be interesting. Maybe engine speed for peak
torque is all I need.
I have started autocross this year and I have found 1st gear too low and
2nd seems too high. Some one told me I should be running around peak torque
speeds. If only I could crash that box back into first...!
