A couple of people asked what this show was. It's a British car show, being
held in Little Switzerland, North Carolina, just above Asheville, this year.
It's held at different places around the southeast. I believe it's running
from Thursday through Sunday, but I'll be there from Friday evening through
Sunday.
I haven't been to this show before, but have heard good things about it. One
thing that pleases me is that there will be driving events, not just a
popularity show. I'll miss the rallye on Friday, but there will be an
auction on Friday night and the popularity show and funkhana will be held on
Saturday.
If anyone wants to check on last-minute registration, contact Alan Hendrix at
the Little Switzerland Inn at 828-765-2153. I understand there are no rooms
available at the inn, but Paul and I lucked up and got a room from a
cancellation.
