Subject: | [Spits] Painting a Spit: Single-stage vs. BC/CC? |

For painting a Spitfire, would you recommend a single-stage acrylic-urethane, or a basecoat/clearcoat system? Would BC/CC look "fake" on an older car like a '72 Spit? I am currently painting my '31 Ford with single-stage, because BC/CC looks quite out-of-place on a non-rodded antique car. Thanks, Doug Braun '72 Spit _______________________________________________ Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.html Spitfires@autox.team.net http://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/spitfires http://www.team.net/archive |
