Where to start. Clean up the choke linkage and get it working freely. Odds
are that's why it starts easily when cold but bogs when warm.
Depending on the year of your transmission, you may have an unsynchronized
1st gear. Those are a booger to get into 1st without double clutching. But
stock I believe you should be synchronized and it should easily go into
gear.
Just because your taillights work doesn't mean the brake light filaments are
good. Though it's highly unlikely that all of them are bad. Dirty
connector upstream of the bulbs is most likely. Similar the reverse light.
