 Dear sir: (Mr. Hupshall)
I am witting to find out if you ever take old triumph cars to restore
for your self if some one has one and wants to place it where it will
be not destroyed.
You see my youngest sons had purchased one and planed to restore it, but
3 yrs ago my youngest son, Eric died with his fiance in a horrible car
accident in a new cobra mustang he had purchased and the triumph has
never had anything done to it since. My next to youngest son, Ralph says
it motor, that my deceased son rebuilt still starts but something needs
a clutch as its froze up from setting. The rag top has dry rotted from
setting. God know it needs a lot, i mean a lot of work. i believe its a
1976 spitfire. We would like to give it to someone who would give it
new life, my husband said its not dented up. its condition looking at
top and maybe even the interior. is in need of caring, loving hands that
love to repair this kind of car, we believe my son Eric would be
smiling down from heaven if we can find someone who would be willing to
check it out and see if its worth fooling with. We have ask other car
places that take donations but they said they destroy these cars so it
sets here dying in my driveway. i do not know where your located as we
are in virginia but i thought its worth asking before its not good to
anyone. My e-mail address is JOANNL703@AOL.COM Even if your not
interested yourself and know of someone that might like to look at it
and see if its something they would like to restore, please contact me.
We are just trying to full fill one of my dead sons wishes. thanks for
listening and if you just would even e-mail me back telling me its not
an item worth your time , i will appreciate a responds. thks again yours
Joann Lashbaugh, Eric's mom
