lap belts

When we restored our Spit, safety in driving was top on our priority list.
For this reason, we installed the roll bar and, attached to it, we mounted a
bracket holding a 3-point seat belt in place. Not only is it the law in
Canada to wear a seat belt, it's also common sense. You got it, use it....
I'd never consider riding in any car without a seat belt. Lap belts do not
cut it.......They can cause severe injuries, including broken backs.
