Here's a strange one for you, everytime I turn on the headlights my tach
dies......turn off the headlights and the tach instantly works again. I just
recently wired it in and since the original was a mechanical tach I just found
a "hot"
wire with the ignition switch in the on position and the other connection going
to the coil. any ideas? My fuel gauge also reads the same no matter the
amount of fuel ( about an eighth ), is it possible I have it wired incorrectly?
if I got the two wires at the guage mixed up would it still register?
