DOT5 fluids are all required to be cross compatible. You should have no
problems topping off the tank with some other brand of DOT5 silicone
fluid. DO NOT accidently add DOT 5.1 That fluid is not a silicone
based fluid, but is a glycol type.

The Pertronix unit does replace the points, but there is an outside
box. I've used them on other engines, and they work well and reliably.
Do be careful of routing the pickup wires in the distributor as they are
fragile and you can accidently cause them to foul on a mechanism if you
are inattentive installing them. Using an earlier points type
distributor can gain you a superior advance curve when compared to the
later smogged distributors. Paul Tegler has an excellent section on the
various distributor curves that he has found. The Fireball coil
should not cause the Pertronix unit any problems. That said, the
Pertronix folks are very friendly and helpful, so a phone call to them
would give official alleviation to the concern.
