Congratulations on your new spitfire! Wow, sounds like a good deal at
$400.00!
I'll comment on two items.
If the rear shocks need to be replaces, very likely the front ones are due
for replacement too. You're correct, the rear should be a easy job,
provided the bolts aren't rusted solid.
Sounds like your water pump needs to be replaced. I had to replace them in
both Spitfires right after I got them.
I've been getting most of my parts from Spitbits, but have obtain parts from
many others as well.
