Thanks, Bob. The object in question has no markings other than a name,
"Mocal". It's a cylinder about 3-4" tall and about 1 1/2" in diameter. There
are 4 ports, two on one side, the others directly opposite. A Google search
turned up a site in England, http://www.thinkauto.com/ Looks like I have an
OT1 Oilstat. I will ask for some additional info.
