I have been working with Ed on installation instructions for GT6s. The
Spitfire should be basically the same. He has been making improvements to
the unit as we have been going through the process. It started out with
'just' an intermittent wiper speed and wiper parking capability. It works
really slick! Now he says he has added an circuit to turn on your headlights
when you turn on the wipers (to meet the requirements of some states) and a
solid-state voltage regulator for the gauges (as yet not installed and
tested by me).
I have some preliminary instructions and pictures that I can make available
to any one wanting to install the unit in a Spitfire. It is really very
easy.

Hi British car owners -I'm looking for owners willing to try the Wiper
Control Unit for the Lucas wipers on their car. I'm making these for our
Sunbeam club members but I think they will work, on just about any car that
uses the Lucas wiper motor with great results. It can be supplied in pos or
neg ground.
The wiper control switch must be accessible for an easy installation. In
return for your trouble and feedback such as wire lengths and needed
connector types,I will supply you a unit at less than my cost to build it.
