Hi Roger,
The little bit of grease that comes on the cables is probably inadequate. For
good measure, I like to remove the cable from the sheath and liberally apply
liquid graphite to it. I have a spray can of the stuff manufactured by
McKay's and it's terrific -- but very, very messy. Wear old clothes and
gloves...
