speedometer rebuilding

You rebuilt the speedo?  What references did you use?  My speedo and tach both 
need work, the speedo just spins around until it hits the stop needle, and my 
tach stays steady until about 4500 rpm, then jumps up to 6000 (actual RPM is 
about 3500 when it does this)
