stub axle slight damage

Was cleaning up my stub axle last night and noticed that it had a slight
nick less than a millimetre wide and just over a millimetre long on the
tapered conical bit.  Will this be a problem, do I need to replace the
stub axle?  The rest of it is shiny new and unworn.
