I'm looking to carpet the trunk area of my spitfire
1500 and I'm looking for a used (even if it's pretty
tattered) "trunk floor mat" for a mk IV/1500 trunk.
I'm going to make a solid hardboard floor board to go
accross the out-riggers that lie within the trunk area
(but one I can lift up so that small crud can be
stowed in the well underneath) and I'd like to get the
old mat to give me a rough outline to start with. (I'm
too lazy to measure distances and arcs/parabolas of
the wheel wells and trunk... besides, I need to do
enough measurements to make kick-pannels for the sides
of the trunk).
Also, does anyone have a spare jack handle lying
around for a spitfire jack that they'd be willing to
sell? Mine disappeared in the last move. Let me know
how much you'd be willing to part with these items.
