Short out the wire from the sensor. If the gauage moves, it's the fuel
level sensor. Don't short the wire out too long, you could damage the
guage. When mine wasn't working I found the sensor was stuck. The arm was
just stuck with a little varnish. It broke free easly. No problems since.
