Actually costs last I checked, and its been a while were about $350, but add
to that all the other fees and not including time or lawyer expenses and you
are talking over a thousand. Enough to keep from doing becuase of boredom.
And I do not believe that BMW would be doing as well as it is, if it did not
a a form of logic driving it. The guys in stuttgart aren't idiots.

I for one look forward to Triumph comeback, if it happens.

How much? $100? They blow that on coffee and doughnuts at the board
meeting!

> With the biggest point being, why NOW. BMW has owned
Triumph for over 6 years and has not bothered to do anything. Hmmm, they
sell off their unwanted scraps and now they register it. Maybe I am a bit
into anylizing corporate psychology, but people do things for a reason.

It is a mistake to think that logic prevails in corporate decisions. Why
now? I don't know but perhaps it is for face saving purposes. Some
embattled board member could mount a defense like "Yeah, we did loose
money on the Rovewr deal but at least we still have the Mini and these
trademarks."

We can still hope but then would a BMW badged as a Triumph be faithfull to
the bloodline?
