I restored my seats about a year ago with new foams and covers. I found it
to be like any other job I've performed on my car: impossible at first, then
merely daunting, and by the time I was getting done, easy! (In other words,
it may seem challenging when you start but once you get the hang of it, it
goes pretty quickly.)

Joe's suggestion to warm the vinyl with a hair dryer is a good one. I found
it amazing how far I had to stretch the covers to reach far enough to attach
them with the hog ring clips. At first it seemed as though the covers were
just too small... but keep stretching! They'll reach! (The foam compresses
inside I guess.)

You will be very pleased with the results! Restoring my seats made my car
much better looking and more comfortable.

Good luck,
Eric.
