GT6 MK1 numbers

I was skulking down a lane the other day and spotted a GT6 MK 1 looking
quite abandoned.  someone had put a V8 of some description with tranny
in it and it looked quite finished.

The commission number intrigued me.  It is 7 KC5808 L.  Does anyone know
that the prefix 7 stands for?

This car is probably for sale if anone wants me to check it out.
