I would recommend starting the water at a lower pressure until you are
sure you have a flow of water through the heater core.  They  normally
only take a few psi and if you hit it full force with a hose you might
damage it. Just better to be a little on the safe side.  If possible run
it through the opposite direction it normally flows.
