Does anyone know where you can still buy the correct style
sleeved thermostats for a Spitfire?
Without that sleeve, how do you all keep the water flowing through
the engine correctly? If the bypass isn't closed down a bit by the sleeve
as the thermo opens, ...what forces the water to flow around the head,engine
and radiator correctly? all the thermos you get from M$$$ and VB are simply
flat top 'now-a-days' style... but none with the proper sleeve that moves
as the thermostat opens and closes!
