Do you know the offset of the wheels?.
There is enough room inside the wheelwells to run
205's, but the wheel offset is critical.
I have run 205's with 5.5 wheels, but the front and
rear wheels needed different offsets. I cannot recall
which was which, I believe that the fronts were
negative (wheel centerline inboard of the hub mounting
plane, or 'less backspace' in stock car racing terms).
A cheap and dirty method to gain more clearance at the
rear is to roll the welded seam of the fender lip
under with a rubber mallet.
