Hi Ken
Have you disconnected the throttle link if not make sure that the throttle
cable isn't holding the butterflies open, if this is not it make sure the
butterflies (throttle discs) are set right in the body, this will mean
slackening the screws and letting the return springs (these are fitted
aren't they?) snap the throttle closed a couple of times then hold the
spindle closed while you do up the screws. Also are the fast idle screws
backed away from the snailcams that they run on?
