Be care if you are putting both size springs in a 77 spit.  20 years ago I 
had a head redone for a 73 spit.  It needed new springs and I let the 
machinist order them.  Both inner and outer came in the order so he put both 
in.  My next oil change I wondered where all the metal fillings were coming 
from.  The inner springs bounced the spring seats into oblivion.  So I 
learned you can't mount both sets with standard 1500 spring seats.  Good luck.
