Actually it's a slight bit diceier than that. Up thru 1972, the disk is a
6-1/2 x 10 spline. From 73-74 it's a 7-1/4 x 10 spline, and then (1975 on)
it becomes a 7-1/4 x 20 spline (single rail). The pressure plate would be
sized accordingly, so up thru 72 it's a 6-1/2 incher, and from 73 on it
would be a7-1/4 inch. Anything with a single rail transmission should be a
7-1/4 x 20 spline, but a 3 rail could have a 6-1/2 or a 7-1/4 dia x 10
spline setup depending upon what year flywheel (or engine) it has -
