Everybody responding to this has been pointing to the U-joints.
I'm just wondering what's going on, that would lead to the let-
off-the-gas symptom.
Could worn bushings be part of the problem? I'm imagining the
diff wobbling up & down as the forces it feels start to come
through from the wheels to the driveshaft, rather than vice versa.
