Thanks for the good tips Tom.  I will take your advice and sand and shoot the
hood again.  The rest of the car looks great, so will probably pull the hood and
shoot just that.  I should have enough paint left, so shade will be no problem.
I may have used too little reducer on the original shoot, as the mix ratio was 4
parts paint, 2-3 parts reducer, 1 part hardner.  I used 2 parts reducer so will
try with three parts.  Thanks again.
