well, i thought i would get back on this message, since an
ex-napa man might appreciate it.

i just called up NAPA to find out about this alternator, and he
gave me the NAPA #213-4011 for the GM #7127 and it is going to
cost me $32.99 +tax.  

oh, and by the way, he was very nice over the phone and he said
he didn't recognise the number but punched it into his computer
anyway and came up with the NAPA number cited.

and thanks to all who responded quickly, i wanted to get this
thing back together as soon as possible.  after loosing my crank
nut, i didn't want to drive it this weekend, and working in the
city of buffalo, ny, i don't like to drive it to work.  but, it
looks like i'll be out and about tonight(if i can help it).
