Paul,
I had this problem. Each morning the clutch fluid resevoir would be
empty. I could find no leaks. I rebuilt the slave cylinder and the
problem has gone away. The only thing I can guess - is the fluid was
leaking out the end of the slave cylinder into the transmission casing
where the hydro linkage is. (only a guess)
This doesn't address your longer term disappearance of fluid, but sounds
real similar - only faster.
