Joe -
You have the worst luck with your doors!
On your P.S. - I'm sorry to suggest that the wheel flange may have
been bent during this little incident. From your description it doesn't
sound as
if the wheel was against a curb, but there may have been enough traction
to have
caused the flange to bend as the car was hit.
My MkIII came with a pre-bent flange as the result of a fairly minor
entanglement and the solution was to replace the axle. I sure hope you
find a simpler cause of the wobble!

If life wasn't tough enough, I found the beautiful Sunshine so
attractive that I gave in to the temptation to Drive the Spitfire around
today. I parked at one of my customer's place of business and while
inside, the owner's son backed into the driver side door of my little
precious baby. So I need to locate a driver door immediately.
Here's the description:
Mk1 or early Mk2 Spitfire left hand door, complete with outside door
handle.
Timing is critical since I have already paid my entry fee for the ABFM
in Vancouver BC May 16 and do not want to miss it.
Please HELP!!!!
Regards,
Joe Curry
P.S. In the impact, apparently something seems to have jarred the right
rear wheel because although not appearing loose, it wobbles really bad
when it turns. Anybody have any suggestions on what could be amiss
before I crawl under it to look around?
