Chevy Duty makes steering column boots for both column-shift and
floor-shift trucks; I just bought the floor-shift steering column boot
and installed it after my truck was converted from column shift. Covers
up the hole nicely, and it's a good solid boot (some kind of metal core
coated in rubber) that doesn't let any wind or anything in.
