As for the cracks

Further - if you look at the archives and use the keyword "cab cracks" you
will find a discussion on cracks that WERE in the rear of my cab.

Summary of how I did mine:
1. Drill out the ends of the cracks with a small bit
2. Open up the cracks just a bit so the weld will have a place to fill (I
used a dremel)
3. Weld and finish
