Ric, I don't know, but what I understand on 3-carb is that only center one
idles and has settings for low running, the other two kick in when opened
up. Don't think duals do that, but maybe. Isn't there a tech area on
Inliner's sight, kinda a forum like thing to ask on?

> Seeing Karens questions on Carb's, thought it was probably time to pose a
pending issue I'll have. I'm switching from single to dual carb's on my '56
235 as soon as a reworked exhaust manifold is ready to go. Basic question is
how to set up the carb's so that the silly engine will start (initial
backout on jets and all) and then how to go about balancing them so that
engine runs smooth (idle, cruise rpm's)? They're reworked Rochesters going
on an offy dual intake. I've done some searcing on the net (inliners,
chevytrucks.org) but can't find anything to help out. Surely some masters
out there have this all down pat. I'd apprecitate any and all help. Ric
