With 3.08 rear gears and 28 inch high tires my GMC 270 would have to turn
about 3500 to go 95. In stock form I doubt it will turn that fast.
With 4.11 gears and 32 inch tires the motor would have to turn 4000 to make
95.
Your dad must have visited a speed shop before his speed run.
