Hi all, I have a couple questions about the use of the original 51 (3100) gauges after a 12Volt upgrade. 1. Will the original Amp meter work after converting to 12V? 2 Using the original fuel tank float and gauge (with a 12 to 6V reducer) my fuel gauge works fine until I start the engine (305) I then get a very shaky needle especially after taking my foot of the accelerator. Any suggestions? Thanks Lou oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
