I have a 1950 3100 and want to swap out the engine to a 350 with matching
automatic transmission. I am sure I would need to modify the inner wheel well
sheet metal to accommodate the extra space needed but what about the steering
box? I plan to switch the front end to an IFS if that makes a difference.
Would there be enough room for headers or do I need to use stock exhausts? I
thought about running dual exhaust instead of a crossover pipe. Any
suggestions? Thanks.
