I am getting ready to assemble freshly painted parts and thought that if I installed appropriately sized nylon washers under bolt heads and metal fasteners, damage to the paint might be avoided. Has anyone else tried this or anything like it and what is a source for these nylon washers? I have tried Lowes and other home stores without luck. Thanks in ADvance as always.
