I don't know about the $350 variety but the NewPort conversion is sold by a
lot of the old truck vendors for about $150 - $175.
Pros: A good bolt-in for the AD trucks, powerful motor, excellent support
from NewPort
Cons: Noisy (but so are vacuum motors), switch won't fit in original
location, so must be relocated.

Subject: [oletrucks] wiper motor replacement

having to be frusterated.

electric replacement motors in various parts catalogs for $150. They "seem"
to be complete, but I also see other systems advertised in other catalogs
for $350. Anyone know the difference between these or advantages of one over
the other? What are some of the choices have you all made? I don't need
super high performance wipers, I just need to see!
