Charlie, it doesn't have to be centered. Lack of symmetry is not a
crime...YET! The law says it must be firmly attached to the vehicle, not
hanging. And it can't be up on your dashboard. Also, your rear plate can't be
in the rear window, as our other club Mini owner had his. It has to be AFFIXED
to the exterior of the car, and there's even a set of numbers in inches about
how high and low it can be. Now I'm going to read the rest of the posts. And
yes, our "public servants" are out to cash us in if they can.
