Keep in mind that gear oil is rated differently than motor oil. As far as viscosity I recall 30W motor oil of about the same viscosity as 75W gear oil. I'm quite happy with Redline MTL for the Moss box. It is very consistent in all seasons. It's a bit spendy at about $10 a quart. |
