Dear All, I recently replaced a broken speedo cable on my 1972 4/4. The speedo still wasn't working, and further investigation indicated that the device putting the drive through 90% into the gearbox is the problem. Turning the gearbox output end of the device produces no turn in the cable, yet turning the cable turns the gearbox output end. Has anyone any idea: (a) what's causing the problem (b) how to dismantle the thing Many thanks for any help Ben |
