Great discussion the last couple of days on all this.
I just want to mention again, and not as a rebuttal of sorts, that two
of the points in jet-coating (which is always done both inside and
outside according to my information) have to do with appearance and
header longevity. So, in addition to some measure of heat control, you
are also paying for these benefits. Steel certainly doesn't last
forever and I am sure replacement headers aren't all that cheap.
For the good of the cause....
