        When I put my 1961 plus four back together I followed the advice in
Fred Sisson’s book. I used a Borla “Silver Bullet” stainless steel
muffler 2 inch in and out, 30 inches long, cost about $100. Got it at
the speed shop. Tubing,  flex pipe, and clamps from J.C. Whitney, $100.
A local tubing bender did the bending and swagging for $50.
        The sound was all most as good as it was when new.
