Here's a neat trick to help you compare needles. Get the dimentions at each
staton along the length of the needle.and make a comparison  between the old
and the new. Now use Excel to make a graph of the differences between the two
needles using the graph makes it very easy to note the differences all along
the needles. Much easier than comparing numbers.
