Bonnet webbing

I recently tried to buy some of the webbing in England that goes around the
firewall and cowl to buffer the bonnet when closed. The original is a canvas
type material about 5/8" wide. I was told that this material has been
discontinued in this width by the manufacturer, and Morgan has started using
a white substitute. Does anybody know anything about this and if the
original is still available anywhere. Thanks.
