I need to replace my gas cap anyway, so I'll add a new ground cable
(mine is a little frayed) to the order. When I install the ground cable
I'll clean the terminals and make sure everything is tight, and I'll see
if that gets rid of the problem. Maybe I'll order a spare coil to keep
in the glove box (I still have trouble unlocking the trunk, but that's a
different issue :-)) in case I get stuck and need something else to try.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm glad that the common opinion is that
it's not a carb problem.
