Pulled the head off a '79 B that's been sitting for the last 5 years and found
a fair amount of surface rust. Before we started the project I too a set of
compression tests (dry & wet) and the results were between 150 and 165 psi
(dry) and 165 and 185 (wet).
My question is whether honing the cylinders (install a new set of
rings/bearings) will be sufficient?
